What can I expect during my appointment?

An appointment is a peaceful and lighthearted conversation that results in an immediate transformation. We will sit together and talk, while we do most of the talking.

Will I have to share all of the details of previous traumatic or disturbing experiences?

No. The beauty of these conversations is that we do not need or want to hear all of the in-depth details of past disturbing experiences. We can guide the conversation toward healing without being privy to every detail. Be assured, that this is a peaceful conversation. You will not be asked to share more than a few brief pieces of information to help us understand why you have come to us. We address only what comes up during our time together, as it comes up.

How long should I plan for?

New clients are scheduled for an appointment that lasts up to 3 hours. Occasionally, the initial work is completed in less time. Your provider will determine when it is appropriate to end the session.

Return clients are scheduled for 1 hour appointments, unless otherwise discussed.

Will I need to see you more than once?

We intend and expect that you experience noticeable relief immediately and permanently for the issue you have come to address. Many clients are so pleased that they return to clear other disturbances quickly and effectively as well. As with any modality, the greater the time invested, the greater the results!

What if I want to see you more than once?

Wonderful! There are people who choose to see us multiple times for different issues each time. We do not expect that you will need to schedule more than once for the same issue.

Is this effective with children?

Yes! We find that children generally enjoy the process and have great results! We request that a parent be near enough to see and hear, but out of eyesight of the child. This can work a variety of ways and we will discuss the best way for each family. Your child’s safety is our top priority.

What are the safety policies for working with children?

For in person appointments, we request that a parent be near enough to see and hear, but out of eyesight of the child. This can work a variety of ways and we will discuss the best way for each family. Your child’s safety is our top priority.

For phone or video-call sessions, we request that the call be on speaker phone so that parents can hear everything that is said. We do request that you give the child space to feel free to speak with us. It is most effective if you can see them while they can not see you. Ex: you sit at the kitchen table facing them (while generally keeping busy so they don’t feel watched) while they are sitting on a couch talking with us via phone or video call. This is one way you can see and hear, without them feeling pressured.

Do you record the conversations?

Yes. We may record appointments for our own records and learning. We will not share this with anyone outside of “Reclaiming Light”.

Privacy Policy?

We will not share your name or appointment outside of “Reclaiming Light”. We assume confidentiality with all of our clients. Clients are free to share what they wish about their improvements.

Can I submit a testimonial?

Yes! If you would like to share a testimonial with or without your name, we appreciate that! It helps others who may have similar experiences to learn more from others who have benefited.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

You may reschedule or cancel an appointment 48 hours prior or sooner for a refund. If you choose to cancel less than 48 hours before you appointment, the fee will not be refunded. We will have set aside valuable time just for you, and we may not be able to fill your appointment with such short notice. We will consider emergency situations individually.

Can I gift an RRT appointment to someone?

Yes. If you wish to gift an appointment to someone we will accept the payment and contact the recipient to let them know that they have an appointment with us free of charge. If they do not schedule, we will refund your fee, oe you may donate it. We hope to set up a scholarship program in the future, to fund RRT for those who are financially unable.

Will you travel to do in person appointments?

If someone who is not local to us wishes to include travel expenses in their fee, some providers are able to travel. Matt and Kelly are able to travel. We can also recommend area hotels if you wish to travel to us and enjoy the beaches while you are here!

Can I do a payment plan?

Due to our billing system, all payments are to be paid in full at the time of scheduling.
